The Residential Waste Collection Improvement Project was successfully launched in September 2021 across Barbados. This project will see the delivery of 100,000 65-gallon Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) enabled roll-out carts (green) for general waste and 100,000 18-gallon recycling bins (blue) for households across Barbados. The project is expected to be completed in April 2022.

The Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) is championing the RWCIP in partnership with Prosource Limited.

The Distribution team is currently completing deliveries in the South East and South West zones.
